Support Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Join us in the fight to find a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. A person in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer approximately every three minutes. An estimated 171,550 people will be diagnosed with blood cancer in 2016. Statistics mean little when a disease like leukemia strikes your family.

In 2009, Dr. Babaloui and her husband experienced every parent's worst nightmare when their precious daughter, Nina, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

" Our precious 8 1/2 year old daughter Nina Z. Nazari was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on August 5th 2009. The same day, she was admitted to Medical City of Dallas Children's Hospital. For the next ten days, Nina underwent a very grueling and intensive course of chemotherapy in an effort to quickly bring her cancer under control. On the eleventh day, something went horribly wrong and Nina's health became worse. She was complaining of severe back pain, was getting high dosages of pain medication and antibiotics, however nothing was effective. Our precious daughter had a seizure and shortly after that she went into a coma.

We lost Nina Zahra Nazari at 10:09 AM on August 17, 2009 at Medical City of Dallas Children's Hospital after losing a hard fought twelve day battle against leukemia. In memory of their precious daughter, and in an effort to find a cure for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and other forms of leukemia that rob children and parents of precious time together, Dr. Babaloui together with her husband enthusiastically support the Leukemia and Lymphoma society".

Team Princess Nina Nazari LLS

In loving memory of Princess Nina, and in celebration of her life and hope for a cure, Dr. Babaloui leads Team Princess Nina Nazari in the LLS Light the Night walk for a cure each fall. This year's walk will take place on November 6, 2016 in Dallas, Texas.

Please join us in the walk, and donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in order to provide lifesaving treatment for children diagnosed with blood cancers. Any small amount can help save a life. Your support means the world to parents and children affected by this terrible disease.
